Filip Petreski

Filip Petreski was born on June 18, 1998 in Prilep, Macedonia. He completed his primary music education at the Primary School "Ordan Mihajlovski - Ocka" in his hometown. He continued his education in DMBUC "Ilija Nikolovski - Luj" Skopje in the accordion class of prof. MA, Zorica Karakutovska, in whose class at the Faculty of Music Art Skopje on the University “St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Filip graduated with the highest grade "cum laude". During his education, Filip won numerous awards at various national and international competitions, while in the meantime he regularly participated in numerous concerts and festivals in Macedonia and abroad. As a soloist, guest and member of various chamber ensembles he participated in several events including the international project "WORLD ACCORDION DAY" (May 6 World Accordion Day), concerts organized by the Musical Youth of Macedonia, the Festival "Golden Lyre", Musica Viva , Festival of Young Accordionists, Evening with the Sounds of the Accordion, Philharmonic for Philharmonic and others. In 2015, Filip won 5th place at one of the most prestigious accordion competitions "Castelfidardo" in Italy, while the same year he promoted Macedonian creativity at the World Cup for accordion "Coupe Mondiale" held in Turku - Finland with a performance of the music piece "Dej -gi-di "by the composer Bete Ilin. In 2021, Filip won a Gold Medal in Italy at the 12th International Accordion Competition "ITALY AWARD", while continuously on the Macedonian music scene he held his first recital entitled "Evening with the sounds of the accordion" in Ohrid, and with a semi-recital he also performed at the 61st edition of the Ohrid Summer Festival on the podium for youth. Today, Filip is a member of the Tango - Trio with which he regularly performs at various festivals and events at national and international level.
