VANCHO STOJANOVSKI
FIRST BASSOON
Vancho was born in Skopje, where he completed his primary and secondary music education in the bassoon class of Prof. Predrag Trajkovski. He completed his Bachelor’s studies at the Music Academy in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in the class of Prof. Bozhidar Tumpej. During his studies he attended masterclasses and competitions in Ex-Yugoslavia, winning numerous awards, amongst which is the 1st prize at the chamber music competition in Veljanje, Slovenia. He performs with different chamber ensembles in Slovenia and at festivals in Macedonia, The Netherlands and Greece. He was a member of the Balkan Orchestra Serez in 1997 and actively performs with the Macedonian Wind Quintet.
He is the first bassoon of the Orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic.
