BLAGOJA PERUNOVSKI

ASSOCIATE LEADER OF DOUBLE BASSES

Blagoja was born in 1977 in Skopje. He was accepted as a student of the SCMB Ilija Nikolovski Luj in 1991 and continued his studies at the Faculty of Music in Skopje, graduating in the class of Prof. Velko Todevski. During his studies he was the recipient of many prizes at the national competitions, as well as the special prize of the Yamaha Foundation. He has also been a member of international youth orchestras, such as the Altenburg Orchestra in Germany. During his studies, he also held a part-time position at the Macedonian Philharmonic. In 2004, after a successful audition, he was accepted at the Macedonian Philharmonic through Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia. In 2007 he became a permanent member as a double bassist in the orchestra. In 2018, he was appointed Associate Leader of the double bass section.
