ALEKSANDAR LAOVSKI

VIOLA

Aleksandar was born in Skopje. He graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje in the class of Prof. Frosina Balova. He is a member of the Orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic since 2017 – viola tutti. From 2015 – 2017 he worked as collaborator of the Orchestra of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet. He is the recipient of the 2nd prize at the 42nd National Viola Competition and has also received a participation diploma from the international orchestra of the Animato Foundation in 2018. Aleksandar is also a member of the Orchestra of Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia from 2012. He actively performs with different orchestras in many cities in Macedonia and collaborates with many soloists from Macedonia and abroad.

“During my free time I like to play sports, especially to run and cycle. I enjoy socialising with close friends. I also enjoy traveling and I am a dedicated fan of the Barcelona football club.”
