Simeon Goshev, born in 2003, comes from a family of musicians and has been in contact with music since early childhood. His first musical performances were at children's festivals, where he sang as a soloist and in a choir. In 2009, he began studying violin at the DMBUC "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj" in the class of Prof. Anna Kondratenko, and soon after started performing at national and international competitions. He continued his education first in the class of Prof. Rumen Dimitriev, and later with Prof. Jelena Tufekchievska. In October 2022, he began studies at the Music Academy in Ljubljana in the class of Prof. Janez Podlesek and Assistant Ana Dolžan. Over the years, he has won awards at many international and national competitions. In 2022, he received the award from the "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj Foundation" for high achievements during his schooling. In 2024, he won a gold plaque and a special award for the best performance of a work by a Slovenian author at the "Temsig" competition. He has attended seminars and master classes with renowned professors such as Blagoja Dimchevski, Pacalin Pavaci, Nikita Boriso-Glebsky, Emilio Percan, Sihana Badivuku, Wonji Kim-Ozim, Robert Lakatosh, Marko Simović, Vladimir Marković, Galina Koycheva, Petra Kovačič, Dan Zhu, and others. He has held numerous recitals in various cities across Macedonia, and this year (2024), he performed a recital in Ljubljana as part of the "Solo is Camera" cycle at the Music Academy. In the upcoming 2024/2025 season, he is set to perform with the Chamber Orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonic. He has played as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra "Sasha Nikolovski-Gjumar," and the orchestra of DMBUC "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj." He is a proud member of the "Leit" quartet, where he plays first violin. He is also a proud member of the chamber orchestra of JM Macedonia "Sasha Nikolovski-Gjumar," with which he has collaborated on many projects, including as a soloist at "Ohrid summer festival" and "Skopje summer festival." As a freelance collaborator, he performs with the Slovenian Philharmonic, Ljubljana Opera and Ballet, and the Macedonian Philharmonic. In 2024, he embarked on a concert tour as part of the orchestra "No Borders." He has performed at festivals such as Ohrid Summer, Skopje Summer, Ljubljana Festival, Ravello Festival, Rrock Classic Academy, "Fames" Institute…
