Ivana Maznejkova
Ivana Maznejkova is a young Macedonian pianist born 2006, from Strumica, Macedonia. She started learning piano with her parents, Lenche Maznejkova and Zoran Maznejkov, both piano teachers. Since the school year of 2020/21, Ivana continued her musical education in the State Musical Educational Center “Sergej Mihajlov”, in Shtip, in the piano class of prof. m-r Slavcho Velichkov and she is currently fourth year. Ivana Maznejkova is an active participant at piano masterclasses with world renown professors and pianists, such as: prof. Natalia Trull (Moscow Conservatory, Russia); prof. Andreas Frölich (Cologne, Germany/ Brescia, Italy/ Salzburg, Austria); prof. Siavush Gadjiev (Ljubljana, Slovenia/ Trieste, Italy); prof. Hajdi Elzeser (Detmold, Germany); prof. Kristina Svetieva (Skopje, Macedonia); prof. Adilia Alieva (Geneve, Switzerland/ Annecy, France); prof. Ruben Dalibaltayan (Zagreb, Croatia/ Liechtenstein/ Armenia) and prof. Elena Dikova (Sofia, Bulgaria); prof. Aleksandar Serdar (Belgrade, Serbia) and Asami Sate (Japan). Its hard to determine when Ivana started learning piano since her first attempts on the piano were even before she started walking, but her first official public appearance was at the age of 3, at a concert in her birth town. Since than Ivana has performed at 168 concerts, competitions, festivals and events in Macedonia and in Europe, as well. She has played sixteen piano recitals (the first one was at the age of 8) and four half-recitals with repertoire consisting different musical epochs and genres. Ivana Maznejkova has performed in 18 countries in Europe (Italy, France, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Serbia, United Kingdom, Latvia, Czech Republic, Spain, Georgia, Belgium, Kosovo, Albania, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria and Poland), in a prestigious halls like Bozar in Brussels, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Casa Verdi in Milan, Guild Hall in Riga, Chamber Hall of the Paris Philharmonie etc… Ivana Maznejkova is a regular participant at the European piano competitions, performing in live. At the age of 4, Ivana won the 1st prize at the international piano competition in Belgrade, Serbia. Since than, she has won 42 first and absolute first prizes at the piano competitions in Paris, Munich, Salzburg, Belgrade, Vienna, Zagreb, London, Milan, Bari, Prishtina, Brussels, Lleida, Gyor, Treviso, Gorizia, Riga, Brno, Goerlitz and many more. In 2016, 2018 and 2022 Ivana aprears and win first prizes at the National piano competition. In 2019, 2021 and 2022 she becomes a national winner in solfeggio, and in 2022 she won the national competition in music harmony. Between 2018 and 2021 Ivana is a winner of 4 international absolute first prizes in chamber music, and she is also winner of few other international prizes: 1 absolute first prize in theory of music, 3 absolute first prizes in soflegio, 3 absolute first prizes in music harmony and 1 absolute first prize in history of music. Ivana Maznejkova is a winner of many trophies and gold medals, two cristal medals for exceptional talent, from the competitions in Vienna and Milan; “Gillead Mishory Prize” in Munich, Germany and “Filippo Trevisan Prize” in Bitola, Macedonia for best performances; Grand Prix in Rimini, Italy; title “Laureate” at the piano competition in Belgrade, Serbia; and twice in a row, in 2021 and 2022 title “Laureate” at the International competition in Shtip, Macedonia. In 2022, Ivana Maznejkova is awarded with a prestigious prize given by the University “Goce Delchev” in Shtip, for her significant contribution in promoting the education and it’s values among the younger generations. In 2013, she was recognized and chosen as a winner of the prestigious prize “Best student” (which can be awarded once) by the Primary Music School “Boro Djoni” in Strumica and in 2020 Ivana was awarded with a Plaque and Diploma for recognition of a rare talent and exceptional results. Ivana Maznejkova, together with her younger sister, Ana Maznejkova, has recoreded a CD with electroacoustic music for piano and fixed medium, composed by the Macedonian composer Ana Pandevska. Ivana Maznejkova has performed at the manifestation “Virtouosi” organized by the National Composers Union; National festival “Days of Macedonian music”, also organized by NCU; annual manifestation “Town of culture / Strumica”, organized by the Ministry of Culture; festival “Cultural Summer – Shtip”; festival “Piano city – Novi Sad” in Novi Sad, Serbia; festival “Piano Loop” in Split, Croatia; project “Musical Wednesday” in Skopje, organized by Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia etc. and every year between 2010 and 2019 she was a participant of the concerts organized by EPTA-Macedonia (the national branch of European Piano Teachers Association), many times being awarded as the best performer. In Macedonia, Ivana has performed in Skopje, Bitola, Ohrid, Shtip, Kumanovo, Tetovo, Veles, Prilep, Kochani, Valandovo, Gevgelija, Negotino, Kavadarci and Strumica.
